Who we are and what this covers

This policy covers the Kids Connections website and its forms: tours, registration, parties and online enrollment. It explains what we collect, why, and who helps us handle it.

What we collect

When you book a tour, ask about registration or plan a party, we collect your name, email, phone, your children’s ages, a preferred date and anything you write in the message box.

When you enroll, we collect details about your family, your children, your emergency contacts and the people who may pick up your child. That includes:

• For your family: family name, home address, email, phone, and how you heard about us.
• For each child: name, birthday and gender (optional), and potty status.
• For each child, if you tell us: allergies, medications, medical conditions, custody notes, special instructions and other notes.
• For each parent, emergency contact and pickup person: name, relationship, phone numbers, email, employer, driver’s license number and state, and license plate number and state.
• A pickup password.

If you list someone else, such as an emergency contact or a pickup person, you are giving us their information. Please let them know.

How we use it

• To answer your inquiries and set up tours.
• To enroll and care for your child.
• To check who is picking up a child.
• To keep the records that child care licensing rules require.

Who we share it with

These service providers help us run the site and our care software. They handle information for us.

• Vercel runs and hosts this website.
• Supabase is our database and file storage.
• Resend sends us email notices when a form is submitted.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks forms for spam.
• Our childcare software holds your family’s profile once you enroll.
• SignWell handles e-signatures on enrollment forms when online signing is available.
• Google Drive stores signed enrollment forms when online signing is available.

We also share information with licensing authorities, courts or law enforcement when the law requires it.

Health, custody and pickup details are kept confidential and seen only by staff who need them to care for your child.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising.

Spam protection

Our forms include Cloudflare Turnstile spam checks. Turnstile processes technical information such as your IP address and browser and device signals to tell people from bots; it is not used to track you. Read Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum. Our website host (Vercel) sees IP addresses to deliver the site.

This site has no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Do Not Track

This site does not track visitors across other sites, so it does not act differently when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We do not allow advertising networks or analytics companies to collect information about your activity on our site over time or across other sites.

When you sign enrollment forms, SignWell’s signing window may set its own cookies.

Children

This website is not for children. Parents and guardians submit information about their own children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How long we keep it

Unfinished online sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. If a sign-up is submitted but we can't finish setting up your family in our childcare software, we delete the website copy after 90 days. Tour, registration and party inquiries are deleted after 2 years. Once a sign-up has been copied into our childcare software, we remove the driver's license and license plate numbers, allergies, medications, medical conditions, custody notes, special instructions and the pickup password from the website copy. Child records in our childcare software are kept as California child care licensing requires, at least 3 years after care ends.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as California law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
